Meet Dr Lindsay Shi Chen (Dentist)
Her Approach to Dental Treatment
Dr Chen founded MySolutions Dental Clinic to allow for a more patient-driven care atmosphere. Throughout her career, she has made a point to educate patients about their care options, equipping them to help co-plan any therapies they may need in the future. She also believes that the more informed patients are about their choices, the more confident (and comfortable) they feel in the dental setting.
Dr Chen strives to find a treatment solution that’s suitable for each individual patient. It may be something physically related, emotionally driven or financial, due to cost of care. Hence the reason behind our practice name.

About Dr Chen’s Career
Dr Lindsay graduated from university in 1990 in China, and has been practising dentistry overseas and in Australia for more than 20 years. She undertook further studies in dentistry at Otago University which she completed in 2007. Shortly after, Dr Lindsay immigrated to Australia where she received her dental credentials. Since then she has been practicing dentistry in Sydney both in the Northern Beaches area and Crows Nest.
Dr Chen is currently studying at a university in the UK, working toward a master’s degree in implantology. She is also a member of the ADA.
Treatments She Loves Most
Although Dr Chen provides all aspects of general dentistry, she is particularly fond of full mouth rehabilitation cases, as well as implant restoration. She also provides more complex procedures, such as wisdom tooth removal and root canal therapy.
Away From Work
In her free time, Dr Chen enjoys walking, travelling and spending time with friends.
